Volunteers play a crucial role in providing superior patient care at Children’s Hospital. These volunteers help us support our mission to serve our pediatric community. There are two ways to volunteer at Children’s Hospital:
Become a Children’s Hospital Volunteer
Children’s Hospital volunteers are required to volunteer for a 3-hour shift, once a month or more by providing activities to children in our waiting areas, playrooms, and at bedsides.
To volunteer in this capacity, you will first need to complete a GHS Volunteer Application.
Special Event Volunteer
Special event volunteers include individuals or groups who want to share a talent, interest or activity with our patients. All special event applications are screened by Child Life Services to determine if they are safe, appropriate, and respectful of patients’ rights.*
Applications must be submitted 3 weeks prior to the desired date.
