Ashley L. Clark, MD
Dr. Clark attended medical school at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and served as a resident at Greenville Health System, including an additional year as chief resident. Dr. Clark is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, South Carolina Medical Association and Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Her medical interests include preventive medicine and cystic fibrosis.

Lisa T. Clayton, MD
Dr. Clayton received her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed her residency at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. She is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Clayton’s interests include breastfeeding support, preschool behavior, development issues and attention deficit disorder.

Philip E. Manley Jr., MD
Dr. Manley attended medical school at Emory University School of Medicine and completed his
residency at the University of Alabama and GHS Children’s Hospital. He is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. His special interests include newborn care and infectious disease.

Joseph L. Maurer, MD
After earning a medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Dr. Maurer went on to a residency at the University of Louisville, where he served as chief resident. He is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. His special interests include parenting, asthma and preventive medicine.

T. Dane Pierce Jr., MD
A graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina, Dr. Pierce trained at GHS Children’s Hospital, Baylor Affiliated Hospitals and Medical University of South Carolina. He is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, South Carolina Medical Association and Greenville County Medical Society. Dr. Pierce’s medical interests include sports medicine, Touchpoints and school problems, including ADD.

Mary Ann Shepard, MD
Dr. Shepard graduated from the State University of New York and completed her residency at GHS
Children’s Hospital. She is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, South Carolina Medical Association and the Greenville County Medical Society. Dr. Shepard’s medical interests include asthma, allergies, ADD and rheumatology.

C. Stuart Simko, MD
Dr. Simko earned a medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and then completed his residency at the Children’s Medical Center there. He is board-certified and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Simko’s special interests include asthma, ADD and sports medicine.

Michelle W. Evette, PA-C
Michelle Evette, PA, earned her degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the Medical University of
South Carolina in Charleston. She is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Her special interests include asthma and preventive medicine.

Alison M. Kramer, NP 
Allison Kramer, CPNP, earned her nursing degree from Duke UniversitySchool of Nursing. She is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Her special interests include asthma and maintaining healthy lifestyles.
