        Who We AreOn March 5, 2010, Easley Pediatrics, founded in 1983 by Dr. Gary Goudelock and Dr. Kent Jones, joined Greenville Hospital System (GHS) University Medical Group to become Pediatric Associates-Easley. As part of University Medical Group, GHS’ multi-specialty physician group practice, we are now more closely aligned with the many specialty services of Children’s Hospital, including the highest level of pediatric inpatient care in the Upstate. Children’s Hospital employs multiple pediatric sub-specialists in fields ranging from cardiology to neurosurgery. Its child-friendly medical facilities include the region’s most advanced neonatal intensive care unit and perinatal center, along with a dedicated Children’s Emergency Center open around the clock. Appointment PolicyPlease call our office during regular business hours to schedule an appointment at (864)855-0001. We continue to welcome same day sick visits, but you must call our office to schedule an appointment. We can no longer accept walk-in patients. Once all appointments are filled, the nursing staff will assist in scheduling remaining emergency appointments for the day. Weekend appointments are for urgent care sick visits only. These appointments are not booked in advance. Patients are seen on a first come first serve basis. New PatientsWe are currently accepting new patients. Practice FeaturesAfter Hours Pediatric Nurse Triage: Should your child become sick or injured after hours, please contact our office at 864-855-0001 to speak with a pediatric nurse, who is specially trained to evaluate sick and injured children. Depending on the situation, the nurse has several options: 1) Offer home treatment, 2) Recommend an appointment the next day, 3) Contact the physician on-call, 4) Request the child be taken to an appropriate emergency department. We offer this after hours service to ensure constant and consistent care to our patients. Newborn Care: Our physicians attend newborns at Baptist Easley Hospital, a partnership between Palmetto Health and Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center. Well Child Checks: Well child checks can be scheduled up to three months in advance. Comprehensive Children's ServicesAt Pediatric Associates-Easley, we offer personalized, comprehensive, high-quality care including routine physicals, sports physicals, well-baby exams, immunizations and sick visits. Our physicians evaluate chronic issues such as ADD/ADHD, obesity, asthma, allergies, chronic ear infections, reflux and skin conditions. We will make referrals to specialists, as needed. Our office provides diagnostic testing such as complete blood counts, rapid RSV, strep culture, flu tests and urine testing. We offer screening for anemia, diabetes, developmental issues, hearing and vision.
