| Lisa M. Castellani, MD is a general pediatrician who has been working with the Children's Hospital Autism Program in the areas of program development, community outreach, education and advocacy. Dr. Castellani graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1998 and completed a residency in general pediatrics at Greenville Memorial Hospital in 2001. After residency, Dr. Castellani went into private practice until her adopted son's diagnosis of autism necessitated that she leave the practice and stay home with him. Currently her son is six and doing quite well in regular classes with the help of a shadow and ABA therapy. |
