Children’s Hospital is collaborating with other community agencies to
meet the needs of developmentally delayed children by co-locating
services on Academy Street at the William R. DeLoache, MD, Center for
Developmental Services (CDS). Children’s Hospital programs (Wonder
Center, Kidnetics, Developmental Pediatrics) join BabyNet of DHEC, The
Speech, Hearing and Learning Center Inc., the Preschool Special
Education Program of The School District of Greenville County, and the
Greenville County Disabilities and Special Needs Board to provide a
comprehensive, seamless and efficient delivery system of developmental
services for Greenville County. During a 10-year period, the Children’s
Hospital staff has advised and collaborated with community organizations
to make the CDS a reality. |
