As a parent, one of the most important decisions you will make is
choosing your child's physician. At The Children's Clinic, we celebrate
a 50-year tradition of treating children. During these decades, our
practice has grown to include nine pediatricians and a third location,
and the volume of children we serve continues to grow. In some
instances, we are treating generations of area residents. Treating our
former patients' children and grandchildren is the best testament to
our emphasis on personalized family-centered care.
Practice Features:
Flexible Scheduling.
We realize that children can become sick or injured at any time. That's
why The Children's Clinic offers flexible scheduling from 8:30am to
5:00pm, Monday through Friday at our three locations in Greenville,
Greer and Simpsonville. In addition, our Greenville office has
emergency sick visits on Saturdays from 8:30am to noon. Our doctors
are available after hours for emergencies.
On-site laboratory. All
three locations have an on-site laboratory. This convenience allows the
physicians to make an accurate diagnosis and determine the best course
for your child, as soon as possible.
Team Approach to Care.
At The Children's Clinic, you have the benefit of several physicians
working in collaboration with each other. The doctors regularly consult
each other and benefit from working with physicians with specialized
interests such as asthma, preventive medicine, newborn care,
adolescent medicine and sports medicine. It's like having a built-in
second opinion in one convenient location.
Personalized Attention.
Our objective is to work with you to provide comprehensive,
personalized medical care to your child. That's why we formed a
practice with a diverse team of pediatricians. You may have a
preference in terms of the sex of your physician, his or her number of
years in practice, work style and medical interests. The Children's
Clinic encourages you to build a relationship with your pediatrician
and wants you to choose the doctor, who best meets your family's unique
needs.
Privileges at Greenville Health System Children's
Hospital. All our physicians have hospital admitting privileges
at Children's Hospital of Greenville Health System, the region's only children's hospital, with
more than 30 pediatric sub-specialists on hand for consultation or
treatment. Our pediatric specialists have expertise in childhood
conditions, medication dosages and in meeting the emotional needs of
patients and their families. We maintain excellent communication with
these physicians and GHS Children's Hospital staff, which in turn
allows us to provide the best care for your child.
Prenatal Conferences. Once a month, we offer a complimentary prenatal conference for prospective parents. We discuss our practice, newborn issues and what to expect in the hospital and during the postpartum period. A question-and-answer session follows.
Touchpoints. We are the only pediatricians in town, who have been involved in Dr. T. Berry Brazelton's Touchpoints program to optimize infant development and strengthen families through anticipatory guidance and building coalitions between caregivers and families.
