The Greenville Health System (GHS) established the multidisciplinary Autism Wonders program in 2008 to provide families of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in the upstate of South Carolina (Upstate) a coordinated evaluation and care program of the highest quality.
Our program provides multidisciplinary diagnostic and follow-up treatment services. The core members of this program include our Clinical Service Coordinators, Developmental-Behavioral Pediatricians, Pediatric Psychologists, Nurse Practitioners, and Nurses. We also routinely collaborate with other subspecialists and ancillary care providers to provide comprehensive care for our patients. For more information about the Autism Wonders Program, click here.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a complex neuro-developmental disability. ASD encompasses all degrees of severity of the disability and recognizes the extreme variability in its presentation. ASD affects a child's behavior, social, and communication skills.
